Testing of New solutions and proven concepts
Every time we develop a new solution, it undergoes comprehensive testing at concept level. We ensure that it meets the requirements of the intended use and address any concerns that may arise when using a new system for the first time.
But with our adaptable tagline and traverse systems we don’t have to design a new concept every time we deliver a system – in stead, we simply adapt a well-established and proven concept to your specific needs.
When using our adaptable systems, the concept has therefore already been thoroughly tested and proven.
Acceptance Tests at factory and on site
Before our systems leave our workshop, we conduct an internal Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), ensuring the system is produced and adapted according to specifications, and that all the necessary functions are working according to our standards.
At our testing facilities, we perform pull and brake tests and we ensure that both the hardware and software meet the required specifications and obtain the necessary certifications. We make sure to test all the functions in real-life scenarios, to make it as close as possible to a plug-and-play solution once mobilized on the vessel.
Once the FAT is successfully completed, the system is ready for mobilization on the vessel, and at this stage, we can also perform a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) to verify that everything continues to meet the required specifications on-site.
Data and simulations
At all times, we collect as much data as possible to keep improving our current concepts and equipment. We also offer project specific simulations, both in real life and in software like OrcaFlex, where we can simulate a variety of different situations.
