HARCO Heavy Lifting exchanged 4 gearboxes at Ormonde Wind farm during March/April 2021. The exchange was completed successfully in collaboration with site crew.
COVID-19 restrictions during early 2021 complicated the project and added a few extra days, however the gearboxes were exchanged fast, safe and in high quality.

The Ormonde Wind Farm is situated in the Irish Sea, 10 kilometres off Barrow-In-Furness. The wind farm was fully commissioned in early 2012, and consists of 30 5 MW Senvion turbines. The wind farm covers an area of 8,7 km2, and have a total capacity of 150 MW. (source: powerplants.vattenfall.com)
